Alzheimer’s is a deadly neurodegenerative disease. Although it impacts the elderly mostly it starts decades before symptoms commence. Cognitive issues develop over time and take the forms of memory loss, difficulty speaking and thinking. This is due to formation of plaques of beta-amyloid and tau proteins that cause cell death.
